Chemisorption

Vertical Tabs

Overview

Chemisorption and Temperature Programmed Reactions (TPX)
The chemisorption analysis is specially used to characterize catalysts. The most crucial point is to determine the chemically active part of the surface area. To determine the active surface area a measuring gas is used, which is able to strongly chemisorb at the active sites.

Application notes

Chemisorption experiments on Pt based catalysts by 3P Altamira
This application is an example of a Pt catalyst characterization by a pulsed experiment. The results, like a TPD, will tell us uptake, dispersion, surface area and crystallite size.

Altamira AMI-300 catalyst characterization instrument
The AMI-300 is the “flagship” chemisorption analyzer of the AMI family. It is a single station instrument, with a standalone PC, and LabVIEW-based control software. It is the instrument upon which the rest of the AMI-technology and software is based.
